Very attentive up until we signed up, then when we had issues, not at all. We had issues, lost /stolen items and they stopped contacting us. Couldn’t sleep in our bed on first night in new home as the mattress was soaking wet !?L Told removals van would be in our new area from noon the next day, turned up after 6pm so the unpack was VERY fast, haphazard. Stole / lost our hoover, reported only to be told it “was seen being loaded in to the customers vehicle”….that vehicle being a MOTORBIKE?! Ok!! Paid for wardrobes to be built, we had to rebuild them as they didn’t work!! Shambles!!

Daniel Adams had moved us abroad and were great initially, quoting us for a return move to the UK for the same load and being helpful about finding a suitable removal date. Sadly, they did not inform us to expect a small removal van from a third country, which caused anxiety for us. Items were left behind when the crew drove off without telling us, adding to our worries. When we unpacked our belongings after Daniel Adams delivered them out of storage 5 months ago, some items were damaged, which can happen in a removal. What should not have happened, is that many phone calls and emails asking for reasonable compensation went unanswered until I said that I would leave negative feedback. Then I was offered compensation on condition of not leaving feedback. When I accepted the compensation amount, but said that I would leave feedback, I was threatened with legal action and told that I would now not get any compensation. I have since asked for compensation again, given that the removal offer stated that the move would be fully insured and items did get left behind and others damaged. I have still not received any compensation and can therefore not recommend this company.

We were moving a 6 bedroom house with outbuildings to a 7 bedroom house from Bedfordshire 250 miles to Newcastle. Four guys turned up with 2 trucks on the day before we moved out and were super efficient and had everything packed and away by 2 pm. A last-minute change meant that we couldn't move into our new house for a week. A quick call and I was told that was no problem and our goods were taken into storage for a week (we paid a nominal fee for this but everything was handled by Raz and the team, we don't know where our things went for that week!).

The following week, at the agreed time two guys turned up in one van with most of our goods and then, as agreed, delivered the rest in another van the day after. They also agreed, last minute, for an extra £300 to move everything out of the property we had been renting in Newcastle to our new house.

The work ethic of all of the people who helped with the move was phenomenal. They were pleasant throughout and turned what could have been a stressful event into, dare I say it, enjoyable!

Even when they were carrying things in like a full sized arcade machine which weighs around 100kg and I asked for it to go to the third floor there was not so much as a frown, just an "OK" and off they went. They also asked once everything was in whether we wanted to move anything and my wife asked for a sofa and some drawers to be moved and that, again, was not an issue.

Choosing a removal firm is a huge decision and we chose Daniel Adams on short notice after our original choice was unable to work with the completion dates. I had a quote from two other firms, both were cheaper than Daniel Adams but they would have made our move a nightmare. Once was almost half the price but he told me two guys could pack and load our house in two hours on the morning of the day we were to move (it took four guys, six hours). Imagine what would have happened if I'd chosen them and the time came to hand over the keys with the house still full of our things. It doesn't bear thinking about how much trouble I would have been with the wife in that situation.

Please choose this firm to trust with your move, the amount they quote may be a little larger than some others but you're paying a lot more in Stamp Duty and you get nothing for that!

They both worked tirelessly , and very quick , both so polite nothing was too much trouble even when it seemed we waited hours for keys they were still smiling it never bothered them, I have to say that I moved to a new build and moving there is nearly always an accident but no accidents no dings and no scratches
I would highly recommend this company my house move was smooth and my stuff was well respected and so was my new home , Well done Finn & Tony I hope your boss appreciates you as we shore do. PS thanks for taking your shoes off not that I asked you too.

I would highly recommend Daniel Adams Removals. Their quote for the job was fair (I had three quotes) and they were very understanding when I could not confirm my removal date until a week before the event. Three men moved our belongings and I was so impressed with the gentleman who managed to remember what was not being moved, what was and where things were going to end up. He didn't even write it down! The men were very careful with the furniture and having just decorated the house I was moving into I can vouch for the fact that they made no marks on the walls. The job took less time than I was imagining and made for a relatively stress free experience. Thank you.

I have taken Daniel Adams to Court for damages to furniture made during removal as they would not pay. They just do not respond. I won the court case and Daniel Adams have a County Court Judgement(CCJ) against them for £3500. I am currently using a High Court Writ to get the money but they are very slippery as there is no physical office. Do not use this Company as they do not use a registered insurance company to insure your contents and they will not pay out. I am currently using a Bailiff to collect the money but even they are struggling to find them as they use their Accountants office as their address. Stay well away.
